The New York Times has selected At Home with Madhur Jaffrey (called Curry Easy in the UK) as one of their best cookbooks of 2010. Thanks to this book (and some other fantastic Indian cookery books listed),  “there are no excuses for not cooking Indian dishes at home”.

I just wanted to tell you I loved “At Home” and have used it happily. I have several of your cookbooks and you are responsible for giving me some of my greatest successes as an Indian cook. I want to thank you for your untiring efforts to help Americans embrace South Asian cooking and make it their own. I have a Bengali husband and he is very fussy. Your recipes have been a welcomed addition to my repertoire.
